Met Museum Trip

Sculpture of Diadoumenos: known for the proportions and the canon used; displays contrapposto; displays victory of the athlete  
 
Ionic Style Column: from the Temple of Artemis; volutes shown; beautiful shaft and base; monumental; from the Hellenistic Age in Greece; fluted column; over 58 feet high
 
Lamassu: human-headed winged lion; 883-859 bce; 5 legs to show importance and improve their stance; northern Iraq origin   

Marble Statue of a Lion (plus me): 400-390 bce; Greek, but was taken to Rome during the imperial age; used as tomb monument/guardian
